  1. My husband lost his right hand in an accident he does not have Disability ID Card/handicapped medical certificate so how to apply without this can you suggest me.

    • Hello Anitha,

There is no need of submitting Disability ID Card/handicapped medical certificate to apply for Aadhaar, instead you can submit any ID Proof Document and Address Proof Document. The operator will mark right hand fingerprints as exception, and his photograph will be clicked showing the disability.

    • Go to the CMO of your area. Apply for a handicap certificate. After 3 visits approximately the handicap certificate will be given. Keep ID proofs handy.

    • Hello Susanth,

Is the small finger completely gone? or there is some part left of it?

If some part of that finger is left than it can be scanned and if not than his one finger will be marked as exception and only 9 fingers fingerprints will be captured. A photograph will be captured showing his exception. Also on his Aadhaar Enrollment Slip in Fingerprint picture diagram, it will show that his one finger is not present.

      • Sir USKA pura little finger chala gaya hai .too kya USKA AADHAR card mai handicap show hoga .normal person ka tarah carad nahi hoga update ka dooran

        • Hello Susanth,

In Aadhaar no where it will be mentioned saying disabled or handicap, but on database there will be record that resident has only 9 fingers.

See he has to update his fingerprints, there is no need to feel ashamed or get depressed about it. Like him there are many people who have missing fingers.
