Including the branch linking method, there are several other modes that allow you to link your Aadhaar Card Number to your SBI Bank Account without visiting the branch.
Link Aadhaar with SBI Bank Account through Online SBI
If you want to Seed your Aadhaar Number with SBI Account through Online SBI then for this you should have Internet Banking service enabled. If you are not yet registered for Internet Banking, you can do so online using your ATM cum Debit Card details. To register for online banking click here
To link your Aadhaar Number with SBI Account, just log in to Online SBI Internet Banking
From the home screen, left-hand side menu search for “Link your Aadhaar Number” and click on it
On the next page, you will have to select a bank account, and then enter Aadhaar Number and click on the submit button
That’s it you have linked your Aadhaar Number with your State Bank of India Account.
Alternatively, if you don’t have Internet Banking Service you can also link your Aadhaar Number with SBI Account via ATM, SMS, or by visiting your branch.
Link Aadhaar with State Bank of India Account through ATM mode
To link Aadhaar with SBI through ATM mode, you will need to visit nearest SBI ATM with your Aadhaar Number and ATM Card
Insert your SBI ATM cum Debit Card into the ATM
Select Service Registration
You will be prompted to enter your ATM PIN, enter the PIN
From the next screen, you will have to select Aadhaar registration
Select the type of account from Savings or Current
On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter your 12 digits Aadhaar Number
Enter the Aadhaar Number and again you will be asked to re-enter the Aadhaar Number for confirmation
Once entering the Aadhaar Number just click on confirm button
You will instantly receive SMS on your registered mobile number the status of your seeding
ATM – Insert Debit card >> Service Registration >> Enter PIN >> Aadhaar Card >> Select Account i.e. Savings or Current Account >> Enter Aadhaar Number >> Re-enter Aadhaar No. >> Confirm
Link Aadhaar with State Bank of India Account through SBI Anywhere App
To link your Aadhaar Number with State Bank of India Account through SBI App, make sure you have installed the app on your phone
Once you have installed the app, just log in with your account or register an account
From the homepage of the SBI Anywhere app, just tap on requests
Click on Aadhaar > Aadhaar linking
Select your CIF from the drop-down list
Enter your Aadhaar number, accept the terms and conditions by tapping on it and click on the submit button
You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number regarding the status of seeding
Link Aadhaar with State Bank of India Account through SMS mode
To link Aadhaar Number to your State Bank of India Saving Account. SMS UID <Aadhaar no.> <A/C no.> to 567676 from your registered mobile number
Link Aadhaar with State Bank of India Account through branch mode
Visit nearest SBI Branch with your Aadhaar or eAadhaar and photocopy
Fill up the Resident Consent Form to link your SBI Account with your Aadhaar number
Submit the form along with the photocopy of your Aadhaar to the branch
The branch will initiate necessary verification and linking will be completed
Once Aadhaar linking is completed you will receive SMS on your registered mobile number.
