Step by Step Tutorial to check Aadhaar Status on Mobile
- First of all, to be able to track the status of your Aadhaar you will need Aadhaar Card Enrollment Number which will be printed on your Aadhaar Card Enrollment Acknowledgement Slip or Resident Copy. (Aadhaar Enrollment Acknowledgment Slip or Resident Copy is receipt which is provided to you after enrolling for Aadhaar)
- From your registered mobile number which you had given while enrolling for Aadhaar, you will have to send SMS in the below format to track the status of your Aadhaar. (If you try to send SMS from another number to check the status of Aadhaar you will not get any reply)
- Just Type UID STATUS <14 DIGIT ENROLLMENT ID> and send it to 51969
For example, if your enrollment number is 1003/16862/07681, you will have to type UID STATUS 10031686207681 and send it to 51969
Don’t forget to remove slashes ‘/’ from your enrollment number as shown in the above example.
Once you send SMS you will instantly get a reply message containing the status of your Aadhaar Card. If you’re Aadhaar Number has been generated then you will receive your Aadhaar Number in SMS or if your Aadhaar Number is not yet generated than you will get the current status of your Aadhaar.
