Does Aadhaar Seva Kendra Only Accepts Appointments booked residents for enrolment or update?
Aadhaar Seva Kendra not only accepts residents who has booked appointments but also those residents who are visiting the Kendra without any appointments for enrolment or update. But residents who are visiting the Kendra without any appointments on random basis, for them there is no assurity whether they will be entrained or not as the Aadhaar Seva Kendra might be busy enrolling or updating Aadhaar of residents who has taken online appointments and their daily quota may get exhausted.
Steps to Book an Appointment Online at Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK)
The resident can book an appointment at Aadhaar Seva Kendra for Aadhaar services such as:
Fresh Aadhaar enrolment
Mobile No. Update
Email ID Update
Date of Birth Update
Biometric (Photo + Fingerprints + Iris) Update
So for almost all Aadhaar Services you can take an appointment online at Aadhaar Seva Kendra or banks and get your work done quickly without any worries.
To book your slot online at Aadhaar Seva Kendra you will need to visit UIDAI’s official website by entering URL https://uidai.gov.in/ in your favorite web-browser.
On UIDAI’s homepage just search for option Book an Appointment and click on it.
A new Book an Appointment page will open.
So there will be two options available on book an appointment page such as:
- Book an Appointment at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra
- Book an Appointment at Registrar run Aadhaar Seva Kendra
On the next screen select whether you want to book an appointment for new Aadhaar, Aadhaar Update, enter your mobile number, solve the captcha code and click on send OTP or generate the OTP button.
You will receive OTP on your entered mobile number, enter the received OTP code in enter OTP field and click on submit OTP and proceed button.
A new page will open which will be divided into 4 sections:
- Appointment Details
- Personal Details
- Time Slot Details
- Review Appointment Details
In the first step that is appointment details, you will need to select your state, city, Aadhaar Seva Kendra, application verification type, and regional language. Once you make a selection to these details just click on the Next button.
In the second step that is personal details section you will need to fill in your personal details like full name, name proof document, gender, date of birth, date of the birth document, email id, Pincode, village/ town/ city, post office, district, state/ province, c/o, house/ building number, street/ road/ lane, landmark, area/ locality/ sector, address proof document and click on next button.
In the third step that is time slot details, you will need to select the time slot as per availability and click on the Next button.
In fourth that is a final step your appointment details will be displayed which you will need to verify, if everything is correct then click on book appointment and you are done booking an appointment.
You will be able to download Aadhar Card appointment letter.
Visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra on booked date and time to get your new Aadhaar or update done.
If you want to make any changes to your appointments like cancel or re-schedule then you can also do necessary changes by using manage appointment option.
With the above method, you can book an appointment for Aadhaar at Aadhaar Seva Kendra as well as banks which are offering Aadhaar services. But some banks have also designed a dedicated Aadhaar appointment page on their official bank website itself. So if you want to enroll or update Aadhaar then you can visit the bank official website and make an appointment online.

But there are some other banks too that are offering online appointment for Aadhaar enrolment and update, so below we have explained the process in brief on how to book an appointment online for Aadhaar in respective banks which are offering Aadhaar services and online appointment on their official websites.
Book Aadhar Card Appointment at Indusind bank
To book an appointment online for Aadhaar at Indusind bank you will need to visit their official bank page https://www.indusind.com/
On the bank homepage right-hand side corner you will find Aadhaar
Just click on the + button under Aadhaar, this will display the various Aadhaar tasks
Click on the Aadhaar Enrolment Branches
This will open a new page which will display all the Indusind Aadhaar enrolment branches
On top right-hand side corner, you will find an option Book Appointment for Aadhaar Services
Just click on the Book Appointment for Aadhaar Services
This will open the Aadhaar appointment form, which you will need to fill to book an appointment at Indusind Aadhaar branch
From the first field of the form, select the applicable title from Mr, Mrs or Miss
In the second and third field, you will need to mention the complete name that is first and last name of the applicant who wants to update or enroll for Aadhaar
From the fourth, fifth and sixth field select the state, district which you belong and select the nearest branch available in the list
In the seventh and eighth field, you will need to enter your valid mobile number and email address
In the ninth field from the available slot select the date on which you would like a visit
And from the tenth field from the available time slot select the time
If you are Indusind account holder then in the eleventh field select YES and mention your account number, if not then select NO
Solve the captcha code by entering the same which is displayed in the image
Tick mark on the checkbox which is showing declaration “Branch will be closed on 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month and will follow state holidays as per the negotiable instrument act https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/HolidayMatrixDisplay.aspx Branch will try or attend the resident as per the scheduled appointment however priority will be given to the residents waiting in the queue outside the branch” and then finally click on the submit button
A small popup will be displayed showing message “Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. Your appointment for Aadhaar enrolment/update is booked and the Interaction ID is 88285XXX. Please visit the branch on the scheduled date and time. Assuring you of our best services.”
So you have successfully booked an online appointment for Aadhaar enrolment or update at Indusind Aadhaar enrolment branch and the interaction id will also be generated.
Now you will need to visit the branch on the scheduled date and time for your enrolment or update of Aadhaar.
