Procedure to Update Aadhar Card Fingerprint Not Matching
To get your fingerprints updated you will need to visit Aadhaar Enrolment Center or Aadhaar Seva Kendra. But before that to save your time at Aadhaar Kendra you can Download Aadhaar Update Form, take a printout and fill it at home
Just take a printout of the form and fill up the form
Once you completely fill-up the form, walk into the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Kendra
Submit the form to the operator, and tell them that you want to update your fingerprints
The Aadhaar Enrolment Operator will feed the demographic data in the Aadhaar Software and will capture new fingerprints
Once the process is done you will be provided Aadhaar Acknowledgement Slip which will contain Update Request Number (URN), with which you will be able to track the status of your update request.
Once your data gets processed and new fingerprints get updated in the Aadhaar Database you will be notified via SMS and email

To unlock your biometrics for successful authentication visit UIDAI Website https://uidai.gov.in/
Select your preferred language in which you would like to access the website
From the homepage click on Lock/Unlock Biometrics appearing under section Aadhaar Services
You will be redirected to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in to complete your request
From the Welcome to myAadhaar page click on the Login button
On next screen enter 12 digits Aadhaar Number, solve the captcha security code and click on the Send OTP button
On your registered mobile number a One Time Password will be sent
Enter the received OTP and click on the Login button
myAadhaar page will load up with all available services
From the myAadhaar Services, click on Lock/ Unlock Biometrics
On the next page if your biometrics are locked then it will display a message Your Biometric is locked (you will not be able to use Biometrics (fingerprints/iris) for authentications thus preventing potential misuse)
So if you are able to see this message that your biometrics is locked then that means your biometrics were locked and that’s the reason you were facing failure while fingerprints authentication
To unlock the biometrics permanently just click on the disable locking feature or if you want to temporarily unlock your fingerprints then you can click on the Unlock biometrics button and your biometrics will be unlocked until a specific period of time which is displayed on the screen.
If your biometrics were not locked then you will need to move on to update your fingerprints so that you can fix the issue of Aadhaar fingerprint not matching error.
If fingerprint is not working for aadhar the first step which you should take is check if your biometrics are locked, if it doesn’t get solved then you need to get the biometrics updated.
For updation fingerprints in enrollment center , some percentage of existing fingerprints needs to be matched. But my fingerprints doesn’t match the required percentage. Kindly suggest me .

If your fingerprints doesn’t pass the percentage than maximum 3 times your fingerprints will be captured and the software will automatically pick up best among three.
I have visited the Adhar Seva Kendra in Ghaziabad. The pass percentage failed.
Is it require to visit 3 times to the Adhar Kendra?
I went for up-gradation of my aadhar twice in the month of Oct and Nov but each time my finger prints didn’t match and my update application was rejected as i am physically unable to move about, suggest me how can i get it upgraded so that can link it with my phone. pl reply soon

It is very bad to hear that you are unable to update your fingerprints. If you want to re-verify your mobile number than you can do it just by calling toll free number 14546.
Myself and my family members visited Andhra Kendra and updated our biometric fingerprint and get sms about verification of our aadhar. But after that when we tried to link our mobile numbers with aadhar biometric failed again. What should we do now?

It takes few days to update your details in database, so please try again after may be a week or two.
After one month my exam will be held nd now my fingerprint is not matched nd entry is biomatric so suggest me what I’m doing
Sir my hands is sweaty hands for every time so the biometric is failing .now I am going to write competitive exams there are mentioning that fingerprint authentication is necessary ! I am asking if there is another alternative process to solve
