Reasons for Not Receiving Aadhaar OTP on Mobile Number

  1. The mobile number might not be provided while enrolling for Aadhaar.
  2. The mobile Number given for Aadhaar might be wrong.
  3. Your registered mobile number might be got deactivated/ barred/ suspended/ out of coverage.
  4. Your SMS Memory might be full, that might be a reason for non-receipt of Aadhaar OTP.
  5. UIDAI Server might be busy, because of this reason you might have not received OTP on your registered mobile number.

Solutions to Aadhaar Card OTP Not Received on Mobile Number

Mobile Number might not be provided while enrolling for Aadhaar.

Mobile Number given for Aadhaar might be wrong.

The mobile number which you had provided while enrolling for Aadhaar Card might have been provided wrong and the OTP might be going to that wrong mobile number, so in this case you will have to visit Aadhaar Card Center to get your Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number Updated. Your registered mobile number might been got deactivated/ barred/ suspended/ out of coverage.

If because network coverage you are not receiving your Aadhaar OTP than make sure you are under coverage area to receive the OTP’s. And if your mobile number is deactivated/ barred or suspended than get in touch with nearest mobile operator store to restore your mobile services or number.

Your SMS Memory might be full, that might be reason of non-receipt of Aadhaar OTP.

If because of full memory you are not receiving your Aadhaar OTP than just deleted unwanted SMS from your phone, you can delete all existing Messages from your phone so that you can continue receiving new SMS.

UIDAI Server might be busy, because of this reason you might have not received OTP on your registered mobile number.

If because of UIDAI Server your OTP messages are delayed or not received than try again after 1 or 2 hours.

    Every think is good then ? It not seems problem with mobile or wrong number update. I was receive earlier but not now. I don’t know why.

    most of the users who are not receiving otp from aadhaar web they all are comming from airtel network.i have mark it.airtel network cant receive otp from aadhar web.

    I updated my Aadhar with new mobile number. But still otp is going to old number. I have raised complaint regarding this issues many times. Still the issue is not resolved. Can any one give a solution for this issue.
