CBSE (The Central Board of Secondary Education) has made Aadhaar Card Compulsory for all students who will be appearing for JEE (Main). Instead, CBSE has also organized Aadhaar Card Enrollment Centers in Cities where the examination will be held to facilitate Aadhaar enrollment on the priority basis of the Aspirants.
You can get the list of Centers of Aadhaar Card organized solely for students who are appearing for IIT JEE Main will be made available on Official Website www.jeemain.nic.in.
If the Aspirant who is appearing for IIT JEE Main has still not received their Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Number, then they can enter the 28 digits Aadhaar Enrollment ID (EID) printed on the enrollment slip while filling the online application of JEE Main. And those who have Aadhaar Card Number will have to enter the Aadhaar Number, Name, Gender, and Date of Birth in Online Application of JEE Main to prove their identity. In case if the details of the candidate don’t match then, they will not be able to fill the application of JEE Main. So if your Aadhaar has any mistakes you should rectify it or apply for correction before you apply for the entrance test.
And those who still don’t have Aadhaar Card should get enrolled as soon as possible by visiting the Aadhaar Enrollment Center which is solely organized for applicants who will be appearing for IIT JEE Main. There is exception to students from Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam who are appearing for Class 12 examination, they can enter their ration card number, passport number, bank account number or any other valid Government ID Card.
