If you find any errors in your Aadhaar Card details you can update it through Post. Using Aadhaar Update through Post you can update details like name, gender, Date of Birth, address, and email id, address, etc. through Post.
In past, UIDAI used to accept updates or correction requests for Aadhaar such as name correction, address, date of birth, gender, email id by sending duly filled update form with supporting documents to UIDAI office by posting it through India Post. But this method of updating Aadhaar details is no more available or supported, however now UIDAI has facilitated Aadhaar Seva Center in Post Office itself. So there is no need to post your documents to update your Aadhaar, just visit the Post Office Center and you can place a request for update straightaway.
