A PAN card can now be downloaded using an Aadhaar number. The process is entirely online, but there are a few conditions you should be aware of before proceeding with the PAN card download using your Aadhaar number.

Conditions of Pan Card Download by Aadhaar Number
The PAN card download facility using Aadhaar is available to PAN holders whose latest application was processed through Protean, formerly NSDL.
If you applied for a PAN through Protean and it was issued or updated by the ITD within the last 30 days, you can get your e-PAN sent to your registered email ID for free, up to three times.
If the PAN is allotted or changes in PAN data are confirmed by the ITD more than 30 days ago, a charge of ₹8.26 (inclusive of taxes) applies to receive the e-PAN card on the registered email ID.
Pan Card Download by Aadhaar Number
To download a PAN card using an Aadhaar number, you must have your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and access to your registered email or mobile number.
Visit the Protean Official Portal https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html
The URL will land you to the Get e-PAN Card page
To download your e-Pan using Aadhaar Number select PAN
Enter your PAN Number, Aadhaar Number
Select Month of Birth, and enter year of birth
Tick mark on the terms and conditions
Validate reCAPTCHA, and click on the Submit button
A generate OTP page will be presented in which you will need to select from the modes to receive OTP, you may select mobile or email or both to receive the OTP
On selecting the option to receive OTP tick mark on terms and conditions and click on Generate OTP button
One Time Password will be sent on your selected mode, enter the received OTP in the Enter OTP field and click on the validate button
On next page you will get option to download e PAN Copy, click on the download button appearing and your PAN e Copy will be downloaded in PDF format.
Incase if your free attempt to download e-PAN has been exhausted then on this page you will be able to see “Your free attempt for e-PAN request is exhausted you may proceed with paid functionality.” and below there will be an option to Continue with paid e-PAN download facility.
On clicking Continue with paid e-PAN download facility, you will get navigated to mode of payment selection page from where you need to select appropriate mode of payment, tick mark on accept to terms of service and click proceed to payment.
To be able to download e-PAN Card in PDF format you will need to make a payment of ₹8.26.
Once making successful payment, e-PAN Card in PDF will be dispatched at email address in PAN database.
You may then later access your email and download the e-PAN Card Copy.
